Tom Kleffman started drawing as a child and just never stopped. At times he works with a camera, pen or paint but his current medium of choice is the pencil he first picked up. A self-taught artist, Tom creates works with graphite pencils that have been mistaken for photographs.
Being an avid outdoorsman, Tom’s enthusiasm for hunting and fishing is expressed through his subjects and the caring detail that goes into every drawing. When viewing his work, it is easy to see how it reflects his true knowledge of the wild game he portrays and his love for the excitement and vigor of these age-old sports.
His Custom Trophy Portraits are becoming a popular alternative to taxidermy and he is building a respected reputation among his hunting and fishing peers. Tom can be seen displaying his work at many regional sportsmen’s trade shows and his artwork is featured in some local galleries of the Lake Minnetonka area in Minnesota.
